According to Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association , 80% of homeowners own at least one grill or smoker. Based on recent U.S. population statistics, that translates to over 275 million households with at least one grill. Unlike many startup ventures, grill cleaning is a niche market, and many cities have only a few—if any—service providers. This presents a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in starting a business.
Our business model is highly flexible, making it suitable for those willing to work hard and get their hands dirty. Whether you’re looking to run a full-time operation or a part-time gig, you have the freedom to customize your business to meet your needs.

Startup Supply List
The exact cleaning supplies we use, complete with notes and one-click reordering links. This list is the “bread and butter” for getting started with grill cleaning—eliminating guesswork and helping you skip the trial and error by going straight to the supplies that get the job done.
Comprehensive Supply List
This list is designed to provide clarity for long-term growth. It would be both overwhelming and impractical to introduce all of this at once. As you develop and learn your business, this will serve as a go-to resource for guidance on tools, repairs, expansion, and more.
Combined, these lists represent the exact tools we use in our business, all with the ability to be quickly ordered.
Unlike many competitors, our patent-pending electric soak tank allows for a range of safe mounting options tailored to your specific business needs. Backed by years of hands-on experience running our own grill cleaning company, we’ve developed a process that is detailed, efficient, and easy to train and replicate.
Through years of trial and error, we’ve refined our system by removing unnecessary steps and focusing only on what produces real results. Our program is designed to emphasize the tools, processes, and resources that drive immediate success while eliminating anything that does not add value.
Our training system provides you with the tools and knowledge to build a fully autonomous grill cleaning business. Unlike a franchise, there are no royalty fees, giving you the freedom to create your own name, brand identity, and image.
Once your business is up and running, you maintain full control over how you operate and grow it. We do not oversee your day-to-day operations, nor do we claim any rights to your customer base.
Cleaning natural gas and propane grills will always be the foundation of any grill cleaning business. Whether you choose our Pro Operator System or Elite Growth System, our goal is to ensure you have the tools and knowledge to deliver a professional-level clean on gas grills.
That said, for long-term growth, we strongly believe in being able to service a wide range of grill types. If you choose our Elite Growth System, you will also be trained in:
- Natural Gas and Propane Grills
- Pellet Grills
- Kamado (Ceramic) Grills
Absolutely! In our own cleaning business, we’ve serviced a wide range of locations—including local businesses, amenity centers, community outdoor spaces, and hotel brands like Hilton and Marriott. Anywhere there’s a grill presents an opportunity.
Plus, a soak tank allows you to expand into additional service offerings, such as oven cleaning and beyond.
OUR PATENT, PENDING SOAK TANK FAQs
All of our tanks are made in the USA in Dallas, TX
Among all the tools used in grill cleaning, the soak tank is our most valuable asset. When properly heated and used with our soak tank solution, it effectively breaks down grease and grime on internal BBQ components. This makes cleaning faster, easier, and significantly less messy while creating a strong foundation for high-quality results.
The soak tank is used for items such as main grates, warming racks, flavorizer bars, zone separators, heat shields, and more. With so many essential components cleaned through one system, the soak tank becomes an indispensable part of the process.
Our patent-pending tank is exactly what it sounds like—a purpose-built, heavy-duty soak tank engineered for performance and durability. It is constructed from double-walled, insulated 16-gauge 304 stainless steel, designed to retain heat throughout the entire workday once warmed.
The lid is equipped with gas-assisted struts for smooth, easy lifting, and the insulated liner helps maintain heat and moisture when opened. A built-in pressure release valve allows for safe venting of steam or pressure before access, while the integrated drain valve connects to any standard garden hose for quick, simple draining and cleaning when it’s time to replace the soak tank solution.
Most importantly, the system is fully electric, making it significantly safer than many alternatives on the market. When we first launched our grill cleaning business, we were not comfortable operating equipment that relied on an open flame inside a trailer parked at customer locations. Over time, and after hearing multiple industry incidents—including a recent propane soak tank explosion that destroyed a trailer and nearly resulted in serious injury—our commitment to a safer electric solution was reinforced.
This experience solidified our belief that an electric soak tank is the safer and more responsible choice for operators in this industry.
Yes, all tanks come with a one-year warranty on the structure of the tank and 90 day warranty on heating elements. Each tank is fully inspected and leak-tested prior to shipping.
After testing various brands, we partnered with a chemical provider as our preferred distributor. The soak tank powder we offer is the best we’ve found—eco-friendly and USDA-approved.
In addition, we’ve worked to ensure it remains more cost-effective than most competitors, while being supplied in packaging sizes that typically last businesses a year or more. This reduces the need for frequent reordering and helps streamline ongoing operations.
